Update: The system was developed around year 2000. The system is based on cgi and sql.
System was used continuously since 2000, until KU IT stopped supporting the system in 2017.
In Fall 2000, the system was used to teach huge class (Math 105) of around 700 students. The homework was graded electronically.
As early as 2002, the system was used to give online courses through Independent Study Unit (now Continuing Ed). The course ran continuously till when Independent Study Unit structure changed around 2012.
