In this course we do calculus of single variable and several variables. This is a straight forword course and students normally like this course.

  2. Chapter 7 : Topics in Integration (Sec 1,3,4)

  4. Chapter 11 : Taylor Polynomial Series (Sec 1-3)
  5. Chapter 12 : Trigonometric Functions (Sec 1-4)

General Organization:

  1. I will give you one Quiz every Friday.
  2. Online Course Manager and Homework: I use a online course manager for various reasons: You will need to know the following:
    1. We post grades (of quizes and tests) online.
    2. Sometimes I give homework online that you will have to submit online.
    3. You can access your online homework through the Student Login Page.
    4. You will need to know your KUID, Password, Line Number and Semester.
    5. I will assign your Lastname as password. First letter will be capitalized. Remember to change your password.
    6. Each Homework will have a due date. Before the due date you can resubmit your homework as many times as you want. After the midnight of the due date you will only be able to view the homework but not resubmit.
    7. You will also be able to see your grades online.
  3. Calculator: An advance calculator (TI-83) will be of great help.
  4. If you are a USER of Blackboard, you will receive emails from me on regular basis.
